Lightweight, high-strength fiber protection enclosures are made of HDPE thermoplastic with a “T” style overlapping cover design. The lockable wall boxes in plug-and-play and patch-only configurations support up to 2 incoming and 8 distribution cables. Clearfield’s enclosures provide splice or interconnect functionality in industry-standard pedestals for drops to the home in the last mile of the access network. Its passive fiber optic cabinet manages up to 864 port distribution fibers, while the active fiber optic cabinet provides up to 1152 internal fiber distribution ports for subscriber PON deployments.
